This Code of Conduct sets forth the principles and expectations that guide the actions and decisions of everyone associated with UNIO Global—including employees, contractors, consultants, partners, and directors.

As a growing technology company focused on data annotation, content moderation, and AI enablement, UNIO Global recognizes its responsibility to operate with integrity, fairness, and respect across all interactions. Our reputation is built on the trust we earn from our clients, partners, workforce, and communities. This Code provides a framework to help us sustain that trust as we grow and evolve.

Scope

This Code applies to:

  • All UNIO Global employees, contractors, and consultants;
  • Directors and officers;
  • Partners and suppliers acting on behalf of UNIO Global.

It sets out the minimum standards of conduct expected in all business dealings and professional activities.

2. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

We are committed to full compliance with:

  • Applicable national and international laws, including but not limited to data protection laws (e.g. GDPR in the European Union), space law, telecommunications regulations, and labor standards relevant to our operations.
  • Contractual and regulatory obligations associated with our client partnerships, including in emerging markets and the digital space sectors where we operate.
  • Ethical sourcing principles, ensuring that workers and partners are engaged in fair and lawful ways.

All UNIO Global personnel are expected to know and comply with the laws and regulations relevant to their roles. When in doubt, guidance should be sought from a manager or designated compliance contact.

 


3. Conflicts of Interest

UNIO Global personnel must avoid situations where personal interests conflict, or appear to conflict, with the interests of the company.

  • Disclose any actual or potential conflicts to management promptly.
  • Do not use UNIO Global’s resources or relationships for personal gain.
  • Refrain from activities that could impair impartial decision-making.

 


4. Fair Dealing and Integrity

We engage with clients, partners, competitors, and colleagues in a manner that is:

  • Truthful and accurate in communications and business records.
  • Free from improper payments, bribes, or unethical inducements.
  • Respectful of intellectual property rights—we protect both UNIO Global’s proprietary information and that of others.

We do not tolerate any form of corruption, fraud, or anti-competitive behavior.

 


5. Protection of Confidential Information and Data Privacy

UNIO Global handles data, including client data and personal data, with the utmost care:

  • Confidentiality: We protect non-public information and only use it for authorized purposes.
  • Data Privacy: We comply with applicable privacy laws (including GDPR) and our internal data protection policies. Personal data is collected, processed, and stored lawfully and securely.
  • Cybersecurity: We follow security protocols to safeguard digital assets and prevent unauthorized access or breaches.

All personnel must respect confidentiality obligations even after leaving the company.

 


6. Use and Protection of Company Assets

Company resources—including financial assets, proprietary tools, technology, and intellectual property—must be used responsibly and solely for legitimate business purposes.

  • Do not use UNIO Global assets for personal or unauthorized activities.
  • Protect physical, digital, and intellectual property assets from misuse, theft, or loss.

9. Ethical Conduct in Partnerships and Supply Chain

UNIO Global expects our partners and suppliers to share our commitment to:

  • Human rights and fair labor practices.
  • Compliance with relevant laws and regulations in all jurisdictions of operation.
  • Ethical conduct in the provision of services, including in space and AI ecosystems where we collaborate.

We perform due diligence on suppliers and partners to ensure alignment with these principles.

 


10. Reporting Concerns and Non-Retaliation

UNIO Global encourages all personnel to speak up if they observe or suspect:

  • Violations of this Code;
  • Illegal or unethical behavior;
  • Breaches of policies or contractual obligations.

Reports may be made to:

  • A direct manager;
  • The designated compliance contact or senior management.

Non-Retaliation: UNIO Global strictly prohibits retaliation against anyone who raises concerns in good faith.

 


11. Consequences of Non-Compliance

Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in:

  • Disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment or contract.
  • Termination of business relationships.
  • Referral to legal authorities where required.
